General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for the short-term rental of a vacation apartment
- Scope of application
o These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to rental contracts for the vacation apartment concluded via www.casas-dc.com or other channels. are concluded.
- Contractual partner
o The rental agreement is concluded between Casas D&C; Debra and Christian Piller (hereinafter "Landlord") and the tenant (hereinafter "Guest").
- Booking and conclusion of contract
o The booking is made when the landlord confirms the booking request. The contract becomes binding as soon as the landlord has confirmed the booking in writing.
- Rental price and terms of payment
o The rental price is stated in the booking confirmation. Payment is usually made 60 days before the date of arrival. Immediate payment may be required for bookings made at short notice.
- Cancellation and withdrawal
o If the guest cancels, the following cancellation conditions apply
▪ Up to 60 days before arrival: full refund.
▪ Less than 60 days before arrival: Cancellation fee 100% of the rental price.
o The landlord reserves the right to terminate the rental contract in the event of force majeure or other unforeseeable events. In this case, the rental price already paid will be refunded.
- Security deposit
o A deposit of EUR 200 must be paid on arrival. This will be refunded after acceptance of the apartment and return of the keys, provided that no damage or additional cleaning costs have been incurred.
- Arrival and departure times
o The vacation apartment is available to the guest from 14:00 on the day of arrival. Departure should take place by 11:00 a.m. at the latest.
o An earlier check-in or later check-out is possible by arrangement and will be charged extra.
- Obligations of the guest
o The guest undertakes to treat the vacation apartment with care and to report any damage to the landlord immediately. The guest is liable for any loss of keys or damage.
- Liability
o The landlord is not liable for damages or losses incurred by the guest during the stay in the vacation apartment, unless these are due to gross negligence or intent on the part of the landlord.
House rules
o The guest undertakes to comply with the house rules, which are displayed in the vacation apartment. These include rules on quiet hours, waste separation and use of communal facilities.
- Data protection
o The landlord undertakes to treat all personal data of the guest in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations and to use it only for the purpose of processing the tenancy.
- Place of jurisdiction and applicable law
o All disputes arising from the rental relationship shall be governed by Spanish law.
- Final provisions
o Amendments and supplements to these GTC must be made in writing. Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
